In order to maintain a good security environment, either in a country or in a tight security places such as prisons, one cannot ignore the importance of having a first hand information on any security threatening situation that could erupted to a bigger catastropic incident. So in order to get the information, we cannot not to have special units that could gather and act on a slightest and correct threatening information available. People said if you wish to fight a fire, put it off while it is still an amber, small and manageable.
In prison department based on the principle to avoid unruly situation, and to maintain good order, the department has set up units, they call it Prison Intelligence Units. This unit works independently to gather information and act before things get out of hands.
